What is the Extra Booster 01(EB-01) in the Gundam TCG

The EB-0X product code stands for Extra Booster meaning it is a mini set of cards, while the main box product code of the Gundam Card Game is GD-0X. Unlike most cards in the main sets, the EB-01 cards are going to mainly focus on the multiplayer aspect of the Gundam Card Game, this includes free for all and 2v2s. The other theme of EB-01 is that it is a collaboration with the the mobile game SD Gundam G Generation Eternal. This means that all of the cards in this mini set are all SD(Super Deformed) versions of existing mobile suits. Some of the units will be recognizable and for others, it will be their first or only iteration. 

Extra Booster 01 will not be alone in producing SD units as there will be a structure deck being released with it. The structure deck is ST-10 Generation Pulse. Unfortunately the Units from the SD sets(EB-01 and ST-10) lose out on their units original traits. For example, the SD RX-78-2 Gundam would lose its Earth Federation Trait and instead gain the G Generation trait. This will make it harder to make existing decks work with the SD decks, as many of the SD units will require certain traits from pilots only found in the SD sets.

As cool as the SD sets are, I personally don't think they will shake up the current meta of GD-04 Phantom Aria. Instead, it will be a fun mini set to spice things up a bit, especially for multiplayer.
